General Info to help support

hello,

I would like to get some information to better support those with PTSD, I know very little besides the symptoms and why it occurs.

I really would like to know how to be understanding and supportive so they can know I'm here for them and understand from a support point of view.

I want to show I care and love them and better understand how to do it more effectively with more background information and the best ways to deal with things.

Hi welcome :) There are some forum posts that may be helpful to you, someone did a thread about most helpful things for supporters to do etc. You've already got the most important thing, caring :)
