As the old information threads are now all articles, full members and above now have the ability to add relevant and topical conversation to that information. Chit chat and useless comments will progressively be removed from them. This is why they all got locked previously, as people began chit chatting upon them and getting off topic. There purpose is for someone to read informative discussion, points, etc... not that you got triggered last week and can relate. That is for the forum.
There is a clear distinction and they will be edited. I encourage members to engage topical conversation upon them, but also to keep that a clear intent upon articles, or they will just endup all locked again so the information remains pertinent to the readers.
