Inpatient For Complex Trauma In Uk

Hi I was wondering if anyone could advise me on inpatient treatment. I have complex trauma and developmental trauma. I have been told I won't get better in home environment as triggers trauma. I have been inpatient in clinic but asked to leave as was too anxious :( was very upset because wanted to get better so badly. So back at home, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about inpatient treatment in uk? And which treatment has helped most? Thanks so much

Welcome to the forum.
I'm guessing that you must be fairly young, teens? early 20s? to be stuck in an unhelpful home environment.

I'm not sure what the inpatient program was going to be doing / teaching

I was involuntarily forced into In-Patient psychiatric care 2 years ago next month. Individual patient care is so important IMHO as I for one did not find in-patient care helpful at all, you have come to one of, probably the BEST online support site for PTSD in the world, and yes I truly do mean that.

As @Anarchy says, if you are in your teens then maybe foster care would be the route to go down, You have the right to seek social services intervention as our other teenage member did in Norway.

We members are all here to support each other in whatever way we can and I hope you find that support helpful and calming for you.

Many thanks for your messages. Interesting to hear. I m 25 though have developmental trauma so petrified of being away from my mum so haven't been able to move away from home. But I also have complex trauma which is triggered by home. I was looking for different inpatients treatments in uk. Thanks for the information, and support, the website is great- so much I can relate too
