I have been struggling off and on all day to try to hook up my new caller ID box (yeah, I'm a dinosaur who prefers her landline to her cell).

There are 15 f*cking pages of instructions - for a simple caller ID box! -- and of course none of it's written in easy-to-understand English. I might as well be consulting the Spanish version.

It sounds like it might be easier to just get a phone with the caller id built in
(that's what I had to do because we can't get cell service here because we are on the backside of a mountain and across the street from a major river)
