Hi,
I am new to this baord and find it really hard to navigaate, but I'll try to figure out how stuff works. I am 25-years-old and was diagnosed with PTSD and dissociative identity disorder in 2010. I am also autistic and blind. I reisde in a mental institution in the Netherlands and have since 2007. My hobbies include writing and surfing the Internet. I hope that I am welcome here and will be able to contribute.

It is pretty intuitive once you get used to it. There are also videos in the help section which are audio provided, though they are in English and with an Australian accent (I myself cannot understand them due to my own hearing problems :barefoot: But they're there!)

Hi Astrid, welcome to the forum!

I live in the Netherlands also. I am Dutch like you are.
Hope you can find a way to navigate throug the forum structure. Must be hard when you are blind. Are you using a "leesregel" to read and write?
I worked with people who suffered from Usher's disease, so I know a little bit about the tools you can use when you are blind and want to go on the internet.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I did see the videos, but I'm not too good with listening to spoken English. I guess I will just figure out how stuff works here.
@Sterre: yes. It's called a braille display in English what I use, b ut in Dutch we indeed call it a leesregel.
