It Happened. Now What?

Well... I'm not pregnant. Yeah? Glad I'm not, but I'm not enjoying the intense cramping that came this morning, or the upset stomach. It's better than being pregnant though. Just not used to intense cramping, must be from the plan B pills.

Yeah, plan B will do that. It sucks. I hope the cramping passes soon.

@ill, It threw me into my cycle late so it's like all hell broke loose in my body. Sorry for the vivid description.

Those pills are notorious for being pretty heavy duty. Just a simple miscarriage can be very hard physically because of what your hormones do, but these pills magnify that times 10. You may find your cycle is all over the place for a few months whilst your body is trying to sort itself out. It is very likely that this pill will have made you feel emotionally very low, apart from everything else. When you miscarry without the pills, as I think you might know, your hormones are up and down and your body really grieves for the loss of the child. When it happened to me, I really didn't feel I could rely on my body to be stable at all; I found it very frightening to be so out of control. These pills are mimicking all that, I guess, even though you have not been pregnant.

I hope as the effects of the pill recede, you might start to feel a bit better and your other symptoms might start to become more manageable.

@Echo, thanks. This is all stuff they don't talk about. They talk about immediate side effects, but not how it may effect your body for a period of time after. All this is good to know because I'm used to being on time, never late, etc. Good to know.
