I used to dye my hair with henna in a bucket.(long hair!) It smells like fresh cut Lucerne hay.

My horse got his nose in it one day... he didn't like the taste so plodded over to his trough to rinse his mouth. He had a beautiful bright red nose for weeks. Shame job riding him near people but! No ketchup for him!

I cannot dye my hair anymore because I am too allergic to the hair dyes, I have tried all kinds. I dyed my hair red once and It was a huge mistake. Not a good look for me, so I am slowly growing it out. Originally, I have blonde hair that I am trying to grow out and I notice that the Auborn color is slowly fading away. It is going to take a very long time, but I do not want to cut my hair short ever again. I am shooting for my braids and wearing my bandanas again. I have a whole basket full of all kinds and colors and designs, many that my husband had bought for me over the years. Long braids has proved to be my best look.

Hey Giz... a southern gal's secret to the graceful grow out.. Roux... Dead Link Removed I wanted it all over with so badly though I cut my hair to one inch away from my head. Not a good look for me... but ah well... fortunately hair grows eh?

Back in the day, I had really long hair, I kept the color Burnished Copper on it. I was great for lookin' good on the back of a Harley.... Got older , keep my hair short... the only grey I have is at my temples, and I am 65, so am leaving mine alone after reading here today ... and the grey at the temples, that is probably from setting with my hands on that part of my head for years in depression, and no air could get to it, so it just died...
