Research LEO vs Military PTSD

Firm believer that most LEO on some degree suffer from PTSD. There is current legislation in CA to expand PTSD benefits. but I feel its lacking. After struggling of what I think is misdiagnosis for decade. Does any one have any refrences for studies on Military vs LEO/first responder PTSD? There needs to be more to seperate the study and treatment. Experiences of the Military and LEO are being lumped in together, and I think its unfair for both

I am guessing that CA is California? In which case can you explain a little. What are the benefits in California that legislation is trying to expand? Is this about fiancial benefits or are you talking about supportive and therapeutic benefits? Is this about comensation for those who are unable to work or something else. Here in the UK we have no PTSD benefits.
