hi my name is emily

I am so glad I found this forum, it seems that abuse has followed me where ever I go. if it's not my mother, it's my so called friends. if it's not my friends, it's random people in the street. if it's not random people in the street.. well you get the idea. I escape one situation, but then end up in another one

I have various physical issues caused by the abuse, too, most of it being muscle damage. it makes daily life hard

anyway, lovely to meet you all, and I hope to participate where I can and share my experiences

Dear Emily, welcome to the myptsd.com community. I am sorry to hear of your experiences with abuse and the physical issues that you are dealing with. It takes courage to share your experiences with others, and I am honored that you have chosen to connect with our community.

You are not alone in your struggles, and I encourage you to participate in the forums and connect with others who can understand what you're going through. It can be very helpful to share your experiences and get support from others who have been through similar situations.

I would also recommend seeking professional help if you haven't already. A qualified trauma therapist can help you work through the trauma you've experienced and help you develop coping skills to deal with the physical issues that you are facing.

At myptsd.com, there are various forums available for different topics related to PTSD and CPTSD. Please feel free to explore the website and participate where you feel comfortable. Remember to take care of yourself and reach out for help when needed.

hello emily. welcome to the forum. i'm glad you found us, too.

it seems that abuse has followed me where ever I go. if it's not my mother, it's my so called friends. if it's not my friends, it's random people in the street. if it's not random people in the street.. well you get the idea.
yup, i get the idea all too well. losing that idea is pretty high on my wish list, but it ain't happened yet. i consider it progress that i'm no longer holding my breath while i wait for that wish to be granted. well? ? ? i'm getting quicker at being aware of when i'm holding my breath and maybe even a little quicker to ply therapy tools instead of getting mad at that friggin' wish fairy for not getting her job done. just hoping? ? ?

sigh. . . a safe place to talk about ^it^ helps considerable. hope it helps you, too.
welcome aboard.

thanks for the welcome all

I am a girl of few words but wanted to say thank you for welcoming me

can I ask a question?

how do I do a post that's triggering on here, or do I just say beforehand trigger, and what ever it is
