I noticed awhile back that my Linea Negra is still very very dark. My youngest child is almost 11 years old now. I am also fair skinned with blonde hair. Does anyone else have this? The Linea Negra when not pregnant?
It is the dark line on your stomach just under your naval going down to the pubic bone.
I have been reading on the internet that people including children can get the Linea Negra due to Adrenal insufficency which can cause pigmentation of the skin. I know very little about this. I read a bit more and saw it can be due to stress.... and cortisol etc etc.... I just am really annoyed that this may also be a side effect from PTSD. It seems to never end.
I will try and get an appointment with my doctor to get my cortisol levels checked and also for adrenal insufficiency. I have very low blood pressure, get dizzy if I stand up too fast.
Does anyone have any information or know anything about this? I also read this can occur after long periods of suffering stress. I have had PTSD for 15 years now.
