Dogs and their routines @anthony

I had Homer with me this weekend. I drove out to a nice spot where we could run around the lake without too many people and even though his people said he could be off leash I didn't take a chance especially with Coyote sightings - it didn't seem like a good idea.

We did probably 4k all tallied. Then we hiked a bit for another 4-5 kms. Then I did a treadmill run while Homer snoozed.
Sunday we did the same.

Sunday night even though he was eating his regular food, he had very loose business a few times - he slept at the foot of my bed and I could hear him up moving when he needed to go outside. The only thing different I gave him was peanut butter in his kong - which he loved but maybe the addition of the peanut butter was enough of a change.

By morning, everything was its proper consistency lol so I was happy.

Monday rest day - Homer went home : (

(I wonder if all dogs are like this...)

Tuesday-Friday nice, relaxing long runs - 16-22kms and Wednesday I added Krav Maga.

Saturday was a gorgeous day and I picked up Homer and we hiked for about 5-6kms in the park we discovered.

Sunday, gorgeous day here - think I will kick back with a beer and some Netflix.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating.

Today is a work holiday for me - Thanksgiving Monday and the weather has been glorious.

I took advantage of it and stayed outside most of the day today - a combination of running and cycling from about 9:30 this morning until an hour ago. I had so many chores to do but normally I would have been at work so I have myself a free day.

You know that fresh air and sunburned leaves smell you get in your nose during autumn, I have that in my nose, in my clothes, on my skin...wish I could bottle that.
