I really love this time in the days I run, as I just zone out with all the good, bad and nonsense in my head that I need achieve today, toss in all the unknowns, chill out, try and categorise it a little, think about responses or work to be done / or such, then come back and get into things.
I love that zoning out and getting as close to out of body as possible when I run. I can relate. I always say there is no drug comparable to that feeling.
Thursday I did just over 2 hours of krav mama -(ok, some of it was standing outside catching my breath lol) - Then Friday I had the most awesome weight workout carrying close to a total of a tonne of paving clay divided into bags, so not in one life lol. I felt kind of like Rocky in the movie.
Today maybe a relaxed long run since I have cut back a bit on distance. It's marathon season here and I have one tomorrow that I am looking forward to.
Gorgeous day for a marathon! Very few bells and whistles at the 39km mark but a great band playing Gloria was enough to keep everyone moving!!.
