@City Slicker: Congratulations! :) ...I hope your muscles don't ache too much after the marathon. I was always feeling like I got hit by a train. :p

Thursday: Weight training

Friday: Rest (slept all day! ...only been up for a few hours to eat...and got back to bed :coldfeet: )

Saturday: Walking along on a medieval market for hours (does that count? :inlove: )

Sunday: Weight training

Today: 45 min running :)
 
Walking is a bit better today, not as slow as yesterday so I dove in today for a P90X Plyometrics - after the initial few minutes of agony, everything seemed to oil right up and I was moving like a kid...until I stopped...whole other story lol.

Yesterday was a very easy and slow 5k. Glorious. It's the closest I get to utter peace i.e., that immediate time right after completion of a real challenge and then the bask in the afterglow. I so wish I could bottle this... : )
 
Na... I exercise to eat and drink whatever I like, not to have a runners physique and do marathons or such. I love the pump from exercise, but I also hate the pain from too much of it. Been there, done that, when in the military. I've had my years of that shit... in my 40's I want to be healthy only, whilst eating and drinking lots of yummy stuff without the worry of getting fat and depressed as a result. I like being healthy. Healthy body, healthy mind.
