Not running... equals all bad for me.

@anthony, Dealing with injury when the activity is way more than 'just' exercise is a soul-crusher no matter how you look at it.

There are still times I almost reflexively start stretching while I am waiting for the garmin to find a signal - you know the type of routine grabbing of limbs and pulling to warm up - on one such occasion - it was my sartorius that took the brunt and mid way through the run I had to stop, put pressure on my hip and limp back home - the only time I had to cut a run short due to injury.

I had no idea what I had pulled plus medical science wasn't helping - I had one of those Tough Mudder things coming up and in desperation and not wanting to let my team down, I went to a chiropractor. Not a fan but you do what you gotta do ... I became a 'cautious fan' since one snap of my hip and the pain was gone. That was some type of voodoo right there. I see a sports chiropractor now and while I won't let her snap my neck, she has pretty much kept my body from breaking apart in pieces on the road.

Injured athletes, injured warriors - you will find the magic that gets you back out there. Slow and steady.

@Lionheart777, that's fantastic. I am glad you are getting relief with the oxygen therapy.
We all have our 'marathons' in life. Sometimes just being able to clean my house is a marathon for me.

Perhaps with the use of a cane, I can begin to walk for exercise again

Keep looking to the future and setting goals. It isn't whether you achieve them perfectly, it's that you have hope enough to believe.

80 minutes bodyweight and barbells. Got distracted halfway through, so I lost 10 minutes to my hubby coming home. Increased some sets from 3 to 4.

When I woke up I "knew" I could not do it today. Took 2 hours to motivate myself and getting started. Keeping going is so much easier then getting started, I hope I can remember that. Also, I want to make a bigger effort to memorize how friggin fantastic and proud I feel afterwards.
