Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday were run/weight days. Working on my upper body on alternate days and abs most days just because I like the feeling in the core. Monday was beautiful here and I braved the numbers of people I knew would be down at the lake and headed off for a long run. And even managed to get some much needed gardening in over the long weekend.

Happy Victoria Day fellow Canucks.

Im in a very very bad place emotional. Yesterday and today hopelessness and fatigue trumped everything. Did not do my excercise yesterday, just could not do it. Today, I also felt I just couldnt but told myself, I have at liest to try. Procrastinated it for an astonishing 4 hours, before I finally started. When I started this (nearly 2 month ago WOW) I made one iron rule for myself. No longer rest then 2 days in a row.

Now its done, good god. I am happy to say, I feel a bit better now. Left out one excercise and did a bit less then normally, but I have done it. Now I treat myself to a bubble bath, deserve it. :) phew

Been going to the gym for just over 2 months now, but WOW, what you guys do seems to be loads. I do 30 minutes cardio and 10/15 minutes either abs or weights. To day was abs day.

@anthony, sorry to hear about your calf injury, have you tried weights? This might enable you to work on different areas of your body, and give other parts a rest and renewal time - it might help get past the injury stage too.

Half an hour to an hour twice yesterday.

I walked one hour and fifty-five minutes today.

Edited to Add:

I danced a bit as well. I did stretching and moving around.

I did the Semi supine and crawling for adults exercises today - two Alexander Techniques.

We walked forty minutes tonight.

Wednesday and Thursday were tough emotional days so I really threw myself into my workouts.

Weights and then some running - and then during Krav Maga yesterday I tweaked a tricep on chair dips of all things. I lost focus and let my arms get a little too far behind my butt and presto, ouch. Icing and heating alternating tonight.

I am thinking about doing a local tri here so I will check out some swimming and see how I do.

Today : 3 km
Tomorrow : Rest

Wow, people asked me "You were not seen a day ago." I talked to this old man and he recommended me to come by mornings, but the issue I am very hungry during morning. :(

Road warriors, please do take care of yourself. I am taken aback to notice Anthony and City Slicker are injured. Good health to all of you.

Thank you @Tanishq - I missed you. It was good to see your posts again.

Thankfully my tweak was eased considerably with a good night's sleep and some ice. I am good as new today and ready for my next challenge! (maybe I will wait a bit on the upright paddle boarding though ; )).

I use physical activity to deal with most things in my life - and I actually kind of like when I have little tweaks here and there - it helps me feel grounded and then I relate much more with my body and get less stuck in my head.

Unless of course it's a full out injury that prevents me from doing what I love the most which is running - and then that's a whole different ballgame. But I am working on my coping strategies for when those types of injuries happen and I am grateful I haven't experienced too many of them so far ... yet.

Take good care @Tanishq and good health to you as well.

Needed one and a half hour for a routine I could do in fifty minutes. Meh. Dumbbells and bodyweight, as always.

Feel super weak and unfocused today for some reason. Training was a real pain the ass. Sunday next session. Hope its gonna be some fun, this wasnt. But feel good now.
