Anyone into some friendly and gentle challenges? Like a daily sit up, or push up, or plank holding type thing? 7-day challenge? If there's interest let's get some ideas going - hopefully good motivation for each other.

Feel very good. Did my whole workout in 65 minutes. Disciplined and in good form. Phew :dead:

I have led a very, very sedantary life. I mean, it is not possible to have moved less then what I did for years on end, besides being dead or in a coma. That I now managed to stick to a workout routine for 2 months is nothing short of unbelievable to me.
I am getting muscles! :woot: Cant believe it. The feeling of getting stronger is incredible. Everything becomes easier.
I feel that for the first in my life I am in controll of myself.
They say, one must do something for 3 months for it to truly become a habbit.
So, just one more month and I can say I changed my life.

@City Slicker
I love your idea, but for now I just want to keep it to myself. I am so proud of myself, I dont need to know other people do thrice the pushups I can. :smug:

I hear ya @Mallaky - that's awesome!

No worries on the challenge - I was actually thinking of it more like a goal -for example, like every day we hold a plank for 15 seconds each day for 7 days, type thing so that people just getting started could also get some encouragement etc. (I am not so much a fan of the actual competing part where you do it to see if we can beat each other's numbers)

Here's to one excellent month. You are doing great.

Day 4 Insanity called cardio recovery. It felt like a holiday as it was only 33 minutes compared to the other Insanity workouts so far. I get a good run in afterwards and I like that the combo is not taking as much time right now since work has been quite busy. I am averaging about 2 hrs a day combining my run into work and then the Insanity and the run home.

I am planning on alternating my running into and home from work with biking. I have a nice trail here that I really only run on and if I biked it I would avoid traffic altogether. I got an awesome deal on a used bike a while back and I remember how much I loved the freedom of being on my bike and riding away from everything when I was a kid. I would like that feeling back so I will be trying it out next week.
