Hi Rosalia, idem here. I realised at 7 that things I was told didn't make sense to me.
Was send to Catholic schools, never understood the pupose of the rituals I was expected to follow ( communion prep, attending baptisms etc). I must say I kind of endured it, but inside I just wanted to scream.
The fact that all around me were completely acceptant in sharing this weird concept of reality, didn't change a thing in me.
In adult life it is always like a breath of fresh air talking to someone that is also seculair.
I have learned to respect others wishing me well in a religious way, because I know it comes from good incentive.
There are just some subjects, I can not converse with religious individuals about openly.
