Lovin My Mug! Show Them Off....

Ok I do not have a digital camera anymore since the kids decided to take pictures underwater in the bathtub. (Don't think I need to explain what happened there.) But I used to have a favorite coffee mug that my brother got me from Las Vegas. Since that got cracked it has been retired and put on Display. Then a recent trip to the local Goodwill (thrift store/ resale shop) I actually found a mug that fits my baseball glove sized hands. It's a fireman's cup apparently having to do with 9/11 it says "Those gone are not forgotten." It has a picture of a fireman in shadow with flames behind him holding his helmet. Someday when I grow up I will get a new camera and post a pic of it for you all.

My darling husband asked me to make him a coffee just before. I looked at his cup and pulled a clean one out of the cupboard. Granted he only started out with the PTSD one this morning but I was firmly told that the current state of the Mug was just spillage and not filth. Judge for yourself.

I vote spillage, but enough that it's gross and should be washed!!!!

It's definitely spillage. One must know how much time had elapsed between said spillage and him wanting to use the same mug again in order to determine if it qualifies as filth.

This is definitely spillage.

My husbands mug, NOW that is classed as filth. If I had the courage I would break it, but as I would not be able to cope with the fall out, I will continue for now avoiding the Bio-Hazard it has now become.

It was only from morning to afternoon... that's why I had no issues with it. Still got taken off me though...

Poor, Anthony, what with Nicolette being so mean and getting you a clean coffee mug and all. I don't know how you put up with that kind of cruelty.

That being said, if it was just morning to afternoon, I probably would have still drank out of the same cup with spillage.

I do wake up to bed time with same mug spillage, goes into the dishwasher at bedtime and is ready to begin a new day when I wake up. Coffee and tea taste different from different mugs, I love my mug, its the perfect size and makes the perfect cuppa.

I know catjudo. The cruelty the poor man has to live with is just terrible. I am still at a loss why he married me due to the cleanliness and hygiene issues I place upon him.

Mind you...he didn't quite tell the truth (and he'll use PTSD memory as an excuse ) but I did refill his cup against my greater desire to put it in the dishwasher as I did determine it as spillage however the mystery remains as to where those spills which ran past the end of the cup ended up.

This is why I try and avoid white clothing... as even I tend to see things that I have no understanding of how they stained my clothing, arrived upon them.

Anthony wear black it hides almost everything besides bleach and spaghetti sauce. (and Apparently nacho cheese. As I look at my own shirt and realize the stain.)
