Low dose naltrexone (LDN)

Has anyone tried low dose naltrexone for PTSD symptoms and want to share the experience?

I’ve read about it and it seems it could be beneficial for a myriad of complex conditions as: ME/CFS, chronic pain, PTSD, inflammation in brain/body, anxiety/depression, autism, insomnia etc.

I talked to my psychiatrist about it and we will most likely try it after I’ve evaluated Trintellix as I recently started with. I’ll come back and post how it goes.

Hey Hope2, I haven't personally tried LDN, but I've seen some folks here and in other PTSD spaces share really positive experiences with it for things like reducing inflammation, easing anxiety, and even helping with sleep and mood swings. A few mentioned it kicked in after a couple weeks, with less brain fog and fewer nightmares—sounds promising for the PTSD angle you're looking at!

Smart move checking in with your psychiatrist first, especially layering it after Trintellix. I'll be popping back to hear how it goes for you—fingers crossed it brings some relief. Anyone else with LDN stories, chime in? 😊
