Same shit... different day. Slowly I am inching closer to closing this place down, wiping my hands with it a...
I know my opinion on this would be met with horror by other forum members, but I'm going to say it regardless. I think there comes a time in all entrepeneurs lives where they 'should' let go and sell up and move away from their creation.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think you are doing anything wrong. The opposite. I think once you have reached a level of growth and change that means you no longer want to read posts (I rarely want to read them now) and then you begin to be held accountable or get attacked by the dickheads, it's time to take some rewards and leave the nuts and bolts of helping others to someone else.
You created this. You deserve to get some reward for this. I would encourage you to take any fkg great huge lumps of dollars that you are offered and make sure they pay for the huge database of information, as well as the support.
I do think however, that if you ever decide to do this and sell up, there is a huge need in the world for a book on PTSD based on the information you have gathered here
There may be a way you could get a lump payout for selling up but also keep the intellectual property rights to turn that into a book. In your position, I would not want to write the book, but I would want control. I would hire an editor to put together everything you have already written.
Of course, you would be bombarded by people telling you how you "are MY PTSD" but that is unfair on you. You deserve, like every other human in the world, to move on when something no longer meets your needs or becomes a drain or a dread. Or you simply want to create another project for your life in your life.
Not sure I have made a lot of sense here, but I think the gist is there. I just wanted you to know that some of us can see how continuing forever, owning My PTSD would be not good for you, unfair and frustrating. Don't do it to yourself. Take the reward, as much as you can get, you fkg deserve it and know that you have already done a great service to all PTSD sufferers in the world.
It boils down to one thing a lot of PTSD suffererers have trouble doing....look after your Self.
