OKay, so for the past week my YMA.F stock has posted the same percentages.

Always up 5.96% and always making the same amount. Nothing changes.

Any way of turning off the 2% broker fee so I can sell it off without losing a bunch? Obviously a huge glitch otherwise I wouldn't ask.

I don't care if I make the profit posted so far either. Just want my points out of the glitched stock.

I've got 21,1188.05 invested, based on buying price - so not including the % increase. Any way to get that back and take the YMA.F stock out of my portfolio?

Nevermind, I took the risk and sold them off as my 'top portfolio' increase was showing more than 'my portfolio' increase allowed for. I didn't lose anything, but wow, very crappy game glitch. Can't think of a reason why. Strange.

Wasn't a glitch, as yma.f stock must be on hold by the FTSE

I saw that, that shows Dec. 3, but I actually bought into it at a higher rate of 10.41, 10.42 and 10.47, so that made no sense to me and actually made some profit when I sold it off.

Actually all of my stock in foreign market is showing something completely different on yahoo than on my portfolio here. Interesting. I must be missing something. I'll have to think on it later maybe.

Still, I believe the YMA.F was glitching on here, even if it appeared to be on hold elsewhere.

Maybe... but this site doesn't actually store current data, it polls the exchange directly to grab the current closing / current data. The only data stored in the game, is what you buy at, and sell, et cetera.

All the real stock exchange data is not stored in the game, which means not stored in the database. It grabs it in real-time via an API to render the data on the page. What the exchange publishes, your page shows.

I believe the exchange updates their data every minute, or so, when the exchange is open, otherwise their data is obviously stagnant when closed or a stock is locked, on hold, etc.

I think I've made sense of those figures, as it seems the exchanges can still define set prices and increases on a stock, based on averages, whilst that stock is in holding or such, i.e. if the company is filing something new that affects the stock, they may put the stock on hold, though put it into an automatic filter that manages the stocks price based on expectations or such. I also notice they do this in pre and post trading sessions, where a price may close at one value, yet show a different value to open at.

I was looking at the Top Portfolios and Mark is showing down like $3,000, but when I looked at his portfolio, none of the individual stocks seemed to be doing that poorly. Am I just missing something?

I saw that too.. and now it shows up. Seems there's some lag/faulty info coming off the German markets. That's the only thing I can tell.

Markets update their data respectively... and I have noticed that they all seem to have their issues in relation to what they seem to show, then hide, hold, then show again. Obviously financial stuff that goes on behind the scenes... though they eventually reset their stock data for the next day and repeat the process.
