Well finally got all the results from the cardiologist. My tachycardia was caused by one medication that was too strong and everything came back normal when my family doc lowered the dosage. I have no clogged up arteries and my heart is in A1 shape, so that was my good news for this week.
Saw my family doc yesterday to get the rest of the results and everything came back normal, as if I had no cancer at all. That left me a bit confused, how can my body keep up being normal while battling a stage IV cancer? I guess that the treatments are giving me a big chance. And my doc also said that it shows that I'm taking care of myself in a good way and that I'm eating the right foods.
Confused because I spend one h*ll of a bout with my cancer last weekend. Woke up one morning with a 2 kilos loss of weight. That leaves me so very weak that the only thing I can do on the first day is stay in pjs, rest and eat extra proteins. But just the fact that I have to get up to get something to eat takes away the little bit of energy I have left. I know that if this gets worse, I'll have to call an ambulance to go to the hospital as I'll be far too weak to care for myself for the next 2-3 days. And that scares and saddens me, as it is those occasions that I realize that I do have cancer.
