Would like to report that today was my first day without negative side effects from the Zoloft! :) I was really concerned for a while with the bad anxiety attacks I was getting as well as the jitteriness, but I stuck with it and it's gone! (Hopefully does not come back) My depression hasn't really been altered at all but I know it takes a lot longer than a week to start fixing that.

The Ativan I'm on has been great. I'm really impressed. I was very skeptical about it at first because my grandma had to go to rehab for Xanax addiction so benzos have a bad rep in my house. I also didn't think it would really help me sleep because I don't sleep well drugged. (NyQuil, painkillers, alcohol, etc, I'll wake up from in the middle of the night feeling groggy and sick) However it doesn't make me feel drowsy or anything! Its weird thinking of it as addictive because it doesn't really make me feel anything weird, except maybe a little spacey. And it's not a drugged sleep at all, it's like I actually get to experience sleep like a normal person for once. I just....fall asleep in a reasonable amount of time, no stress, without waking up 2-5 times a night. I have normal dreams and there's nothing unnatural feeling about it at all. I really wish it was a drug I could use long term without fear of developing dependence because I am impressed.

Anyways I share this for anyone who's considering different meds, and also because I'm happy things are working out! :)
