Be open to changing meds if you can. I tap out easily (successful use of a med at first and then the effectiveness wanes).

it's taken me a long time to find a combination that works. But I'm more knowledgeable now and actively involved in researching and suggesting medications (although my doctor, likely all docs, tells me to stay off webmd - it's a gateway to believing you have an illness that can't be cured or exists anymore ;)).

We've increased the abilify to 2mg. It's taking the edge off, and I'm sleeping better. Only, I think it's making me angry, out of nowhere I'll snap at my husband or kids? It's weird. That only happens when I'm feeling something that I've not dealt with. Which us also likely as I've been ignoring a situation with my son. It's so hard to tell sometimes.
