I definitely admire you guys for showing your pics! I worry about my abusers finding me... I'm paranoid about them finding out who I am through what I say on here, although common sense trys to tell me they probably never would. But Helliepig - maybe one day I'll muster up the courage with you. :)

I have had the most amazing Tiggertastic day ever:D. I am just home after meeting forum members in Birmingham.

I am so proud of everyone, Cat, LadyhopeSomerset, funlovinbiker, Crafty Cath, Belle, Meadowsweet, Amethist and Loloma. There were 12 of us in total, 9 forum members and 3 spouses. We stepped far out of our comfort zones and we all (I think) enjoyed ourselves.

We were all worried, scared, anxious ......... about meeting new people but it wasn't like that. We 'knew' one another and were chatting away like old friends immediately.

I and hopefully others will post photos. I just wanted to thank everyone for an amazing day.

I now have the start of a migraine so I will go take drugs and see if I can head it off.

That is pretty awesome and for so many to attend. We still struggle to get more than 4 in Melbourne for our walks.

Good on everyone for having the courage to go and I'm glad you enjoyed your meeting. I am sure that the meeting will aide your forum interaction having better first hand knowledge of each other and a "face to a name". Awesome!

It was truly amazing for all of us. All anxious, all worried we would not be able to actually get there, yes me included, but I think we were all so happy to have done this.

The meeting was planned for around 2 hours, but lasted for almost 4, how wonderful we all managed that long.

Bless him, Stu was the first to say he had had enough and needed to go, A big thank you to CraftyCath's husband for asking him if he was OK, and to Stu for admitting to a stranger he was not too good, and not trying to keep going.

Here is one of the photo's taken for us.

From bottom left going clockwise KP, LadyhopeSumerset, Lovingbiker, CraftyCath's husband, Meadowsweet, Cat, KP's Husband, CraftyCath, Belle, Stu and Amethist and Loloma.

I really hope we can do this again in the summer, and others can come along too. Everybody chatted away together, and we even did the seat move a few times so we could chat to everyone. So it was not just a few together for the whole time, which was a fun thing to do.

So possibly picnic in the museum gardens in York for next time.
