I have a question. How come Sea is banned permanently? I wasn't involved in any of the drama but from what I read it sounds like he was banned for a completely different reason. His erratic posting.

Other people on this forum were trying to rally behind closed doors and that is what goes against forum policy and thus resulted in their being banned from this site. Which I completely understand.

So, why Sea? Just wondering.

It takes courage to be the voice and face of a decision that is intended for the greater good...

It also comes down to "there has to be a boss". Once the boss weighs in, Its time to shut up and get in line or find another Island. I hate losing people. Especially, people who really need this place. They will be missed!

But there are a lot of people still here, who can be helped. If your comrad goes down on the field of battle, you can't stop to morn him while the rest of your friends die. He should instead inspire you to fight harder to save all that are savable!

I morn Sea's loss (and all of the rest). But I will not stop fighting for my friends!

Very well said! Anthony and Nicolette have obviously poured their hearts, souls, time and money into this forum, and as has been stated, you can't make everyone happy all the time. Nor should they try. They endure with their decisions, and there is MUCH we don't need to know about the workings of running a forum. It can't be an easy job to 'manage' a bunch of depressed, angry, sometimes irrational 'crowd' and their "knee-jerk" reactions, being triggered and trying to write coherently.

It's all for the sake of the board, which they've created and shared with us as a tool. Even though I might not always agree with a decision, I can still be thankful for them, and the drive that keeps them going. I say, let them continue creating this place. I've met some AWESOME people here, and that speaks for itself. Anyone who wants drama can go somewhere else.

It isn't who is right or wrong, but the rules are the 'referee', and the Forum is one of a great resource for PTSD I haven't been around much in the past few days, so haven't a clue what happened, but I choose to ignore the negative, and learn from the possibilties in the future. It's a new day!

I am going to add a moral here, that some members should think about, and they will know who they are... like I make very public, ALL forms of communication on this site are randomly monitored, thus I often know what people say behind my back, or behind the back of staff.

Very people have posted onto this thread who have been two-faced with their opinions about me, about the management of this site, about staffs ability to manage it inline with staff policy and my own direction to staff.

Let me just say, I distaste liars and manipulators. Don't post one thing in public and say another in private, because that only adds fuel to the fire.

If you have something to say, be honest and speak the truth, not manipulative and two faced. The very idea and purpose of a site like this is to get people removing their masks and breaking free of the untruth, not continuing their use and perpetuating deceit or such.

It might be a fair statement to say that many of as, as victims of various crimes and injustices, have had a great deal of exposure to those that do not handle issues in a healthy - or even adult - manner. Deceit and manipulation cast a pretty broad path of destruction, and there are an awful lot of people exposed to such behavior as part of their trauma. I was raised by some pretty masterful manipulators, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here. I think the trick is to not emulate the behavior that was used on us, but instead to rise above it. It takes a conscious effort to recognize that our initial "knee jerk" reaction may not be the most wise or healthy way to handle a situation, and the example we may have learned in the past isn't always a good way to proceed with the future.

 I admit to being wishy-washy at one point. But after considering the enormity of this forum, and the good it has brought, and can bring, I decided that it is worth it to me to come here, and let myself step out of my 'box', and consider others' opinions in an attempt to learn and grow. Everyone makes a mistake once in a while, and I'm hoping to catch mine before anyone else. :)

I like being able to be a guest here. Haven't been around for 2 days so I missed the nonsense thankfully. Boundries are very good. This is the best forum for ptsd that I have seen.

I was on another one that was crazymaking and posts were deleted. The troublemakers lived on to make troubles another day.

I for one fully appreciate all the good this place has to offer. thanks guys for taking such good care of this site.
