Sorry, yes awareness and knowledge of it has increased along with the recognition that anybody can get it, not just Vets of foreign wars. War is War, the battles are just different. The critera still apply for real PTSD.
Steere, not long ago here, PTSS was used if it was not lasting more than 6 months, if I am correct, havng nothing to do with the source or the trauma really.
Andrew, when I was "tagged" with "complex" PTSD years after I had PTSD, I believe it was defined here as a more "pervasive" form of PTSD and again had nothing to do with the type of trama that caused it.
