Does anyone have any select artists that just help them because the music feels right and means so much to you, you feel less alone with emotional pain, when you listen to it?
For example, my favorites are: Motion City Soundtrack (songs about recovery, O.C.D., anxiety, medicine, hospitalization, addiction, joy, finding oneself), Ace Enders (especially I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business which is an emotional piece), Manchester Orchestra, and Mae/Schematic because they're a little more uplifting.
Music has been an incredible help to me, and I tend to appreciate the real stuff more especially if it has a positive twist but can still relate to deep pain…
I'm just wondering if anyone here can share what REALLY hits home for them (especially if you like indie/alternative/emo/punk/acoustic music because then I'll probably like it a lot too…)
Thanks!!
