My Anxiety Is Going Nuts

I have just gone through my wife having a "boyfriend" I found some emails. We are working on the issues but it seems to make me on edge. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing but I know I love my wife and she says she is committed to the relationship. I know that I have been distant lately but it's no excuse to do what she did. I hope I get through this without going nuts...seems like I've been having panic attacks a lot more lately.

I am sorry you are going through this. Try to take time to think it through with as clear a head as possible. You are right, that is not an excuse to do what she did. You can get though this, it will be difficult, but you can do it.

No doubt mate... I guess we all heal from relationship breakdowns, though it doesn't make them suck any less, or the pain just go away any faster. I review my past as experiencing building to what I have now. What I had was obviously not completely right, thus it pushed me forward to what I now have, being a lovely wife, really happily married and who I love without doubt in my mind. Life pushes us forward at the end of the day whether we want it or not.

Do the best you can is all you need do.

Let her actions determine whether you should drop the issue or not. I learned that the hard way. I caught my ex cheating on me on numerous occasions. Her words said one thing, her actions said another. If the communication is good and you two can reconcile peacefully, that's a great thing. My prior relationship lacked much communication - she just didn't want to discuss anything. Now I'm with a woman who keeps open communication with me, and together we've built tremendous trust. There hasn't been issues with infidelity. The key is communication.
