My bucket list is:

  • Want to stay married until I die.....
  • Want to die before my husband
  • Want to go to Egypt and see the pyramids
  • Bahamas....have wanted to go there all my life
  • Want to be able to be financially independent so I dont have to kill myself working so hard
  • Want to drive feeling the wind in my hair without a care in the world and feel the sun shining down on my face (without worrying about something)
  • Want to climb Ayers' Rock
  • Want to walk the Great Wall of China
  • Have a holiday and not have to come home and have overwhelming work responsibilities (currently looking at employing someone to help with that).
  • See the sun rise while sitting on the beach of a tropical island
  • Be able to heal my past...................or let go of what is holding me back
  • Sky dive (holy cow...only if you push me out of the plane)

Wow Nicolette

Thanks heaps for your Bucket List.

Wish I could say; Stay married till I die. Would have in the past, but the current climate won't allow me :(

I guarantee you will LOVE Egypt, it is my most favourite country, despite the poverty.

I also guarantee you will love climbing Ayers Rock, do it when it's windy, it's so much more challenging!

And, I will push you out of a plane, if you will push me :)

Have you succeeded in anything you have wanted to achieve? Even if it was something you wanted as a kid?

Clydie

Yes I have Clydie but I'm a bit short of time tonight. The best thing someone ever said to me was "you will never be anyone" and well have I done better than them and all on my own.

What have you succeeded with yourself Clyde? Sounds like you have done some of the things I want to do so well done. And happy to go screaming out of a plane with you but can't promise you wont have nail marks in body parts

- Avoid all plunging from great heights, with or without parachute, thereby ensuring a longer lifespan within which to pursue one's Bucket List. Also avoid being pushed from said height if and when possible.

-Avoid pushing another person from same height, with the intention of not being able to pursue aforementioned Bucket List with any success from the confines of one's prison cell.

I've driven cars in excess of you-don't-want-to-know mph, hurled through space on top of large animals, have been poisoned, choked and shot at ( once ) but don't think I could think of anything more terrifying than leaping from an airplane. Whew!!

Bucket List;

- Stay Married. ( as in this time, period. )
-Be really, really, really nice. Forever.
- Publish all 3 books.
- Get back in touch with all my friends.
- See England again.
- Really, truly understand the dam Theory of Relativity ( seriously-I want to know before I die!
-Be respected for my work, because I was just plain good at it.

I've given this "bucket list" of mine some serious thought. I had to. Could not come up with anything I wanted to do before I die.
After much thought and consideration I finally came up with a few things.

1. move closer to my daughter and grandbaby
2. learn all the rules of friendship
3. acquire at least one life long friend(for the time I have left)
4. Take a tour in my SUV around our great country
5. But most of all "just be happy"

Well, there it is, My bucket list. But I just can't resist throwing in one small fact. While not on any list I ever made----I did take skydiving lessons and I DID jump out of a perfectly good airplane. AND I've got a certificate and the pictures to prove it!!!!!!!

Well first of all I think you are all nuts for wanting to jump out of a plane. I mean you'd have to basically drug me to even get into a plane much less jump out of one.

Bucket List
1. Be able to get back into the workforce even if in a diminished capacity.
2. Actually write down the rest of my fantasy story and finish the book.
3. Be remembered by my children as being fair and honest with them.
4. I would like to own a farm or at least enough land where I could walk outside naked and no one would see me.
5. I would like to build a 4x4 truck with my son so we can go mudding.
6. I would like to track down my ancestors in Belgium and see if any of them are still living there.
7. I would like to see both new york and las vegas.
8. I would like to own an english mastiff and have enough room in the house for one.

That's about it and I found that much harder to do than I thought it would be.

I'm with you, Popeye, on the whole jumping out of a plane thing!

I want to see the California Redwoods, Grand Canyon (again), the monuments in Washington D.C., and move someplace a lot warmer!

I've jumped out of a perfectly good plane before, and even though I wanted to sky dive and can say... it is the most amazing feeling to be felt, you still hesitate the first time because you're jumping out of a perfectly good plane.

You get a real perspective on just how little control you can have and how much trust you must put in the parachute / the parachute packer.

My Bucket List. There may be some strange ones among it, but hey who's bothered about that.

To stay married.

To see my husband continue to recover and laugh even more that he is doing now.

To go to Austria and ride one of the Lipizzaner horses, and see then perform. I should have done this 2 years ago for my 50th birthday, but ptsd stopped it.

To ride the TT course on the Isle Of Mann on my own bike.

To teach my grandchildren all the daft stuff my dad taught my daughters.

To not have to work any more, OK maybe a dream but you have to have at least one dream in your life.

To be able to tell my dad I miss him, and to know he understands about the family split. This is the strange one, he sadly passed away 10 years ago.

To find my dream cottage by the see. I have drawn the one I saw in my own mind a while ago and have it pinned up on our notice board.

To see my husband working in his garage he dreams of, restoring old classic motorbikes.

To watch my wonderful grandchildren grow into loving, intelligent, independent adults.

Amethist

Amethist, was that Australia, or Austria????

I am going parachuting next month. Going to land right on The Strand in front of hundreds of people this time of year.
I will be paying the extra to have a DVD taken right from the time I go out the door, up until landing.

Might post somewhere here. It was on my 'Bucket List'.
