I know I've come to a new point in my life when we had a discussion about his OCD. When he told me about the suffering and how it isn't cute. How he told me he appreciated the fact that I've worked with him on it being in his every day life and the fact that I don't call it "quirky" or misuse the terms in my own vocabulary.
It's an accomplishment because I helped him. He was terrified I would leave, as we've now been together for going on 3 years, and the symptoms started to really surface. He told me he loves how I don't ridicule him like the last partner did. That I don't question what he does and I listen.
"You must be right because I don't wash my hands after I touch you"
