Nausea When Nervous

Ugh stress nausea is the worst. Depending on how bad the nausea is I try to find a way to combat it. Sometimes I'll use medications (antacid, PPI, H2 receptor blocker) but often it's just s stop gap. Relaxation and sipping peppermint tea are what helps. Sometimes fresh air and feeling safe/secure is what helps. I hope you find what works for you!
 
I too suffer from nausea. Have been for years now. Every day! I've had scopes (both ends), X-rays, CT scan trying to find out why. After all of that I asked if it could be from stress - doc said no. On my next visit I told him I have PTSD and I think it's from that at which point he said "could be".

It was so bad a few years ago all I could eat was yogurt and ginger ale. I lost 60 pounds in 2 months. Since then I've had zofran daily. I have the tablets and dissolving for immediate relief. It is so disabling that at times I can't do anything. My mom suggested anise tea. It tastes like licorice and works a little. Also I read cinnamon can help.
