Dom Violence Need Advice For Defending A Domestic Assault Case.

My younger brother got divorced with his wife about a month ago. Yesterday he got a call from the lawyer and they told him that she is going to accuse him for domestic assault. She has got two false witness too to trap my brother. Anyway, we need to consult with a defence lawyer as soon possible. My uncle suggested Kostman and Pyzer in Toronto but I would like to get some advice on this. Because this is the first time we are going to consult a criminal lawyer. Should we submit any documents or evidences at the the time of consultation?

I have consulted with a lawyer for something else and yes by all means bring all documents with you to the first meeting. By the way I had a friend falsely accused of domestic violence and the judge threw it out due to lack of evidence.
