Hi, all. My boyfriend was in the military and had done two tours. We haven't had much contact in a couple of days and I know that usually means I need to give him his space.
Today, however, he told me that he "had a bad meeting." He had an appointment today with the VA. I'm not sure what that entails. He's not replying to my messages; he's only reading them.
I suppose if there is anyone out there who can provide me with more information as to what happens during VA appointments/evaluations? I'm not sure if it was supposed to be an annual physical or an evaluation on his mental state (the month of December was very difficult for him and that was the reason why he had gone to the VA today.)
Any and all responses are welcome. I have asked what happened and if everything is okay, but no response. Could he have been admitted? If there’s a possibility that he’s been admitted, can he use his cellphone? He currently read my last message is why I’m asking. I really don't know what it means. I have only accompanied him once to one of his appointments and he had told me that he had gotten close to it being real bad, but he never went into detail.
