In my area it seems to be a lot of options for those who has experienced sexual trauma in childhood. There are support-groups, centres, and a lot of offers - even free therapy.
Sexual abuse is horrible, and I understand that the focus is important and I am glad there are so many ways to seek help and support. I find it harder when it comes to other childhood trauma like physical and emotional abuse like I have experienced, though (mother with narcissistic traits). I go to therapy, but I cant afford to go very often and I feel I need more than I get. More support and maybe meet somebody who can relate to my experiences as well.
I am high-functioning and without a diagnose - I go to a private therapist, so I am not in "the system".
Do you have any support groups you go to or something like that or is it "just" therapy? How did you find these groups? I have considered group-therapy, but I cant find a group that suits me.
