Understand AI use at MyPTSD: all AI use is explained in our AI help page. AI use is by choice here. It exists if you want it, but does nothing unless you choose to use it.
I didn't make resolutions since I was a child and my resolution had to be "Be a better, well-behaved little grown-up, don't make trouble, don't cry, don't get angry, don't complain, don't bother anyone, don't don't don't...". Basically it came down to don't breath or even exist.
This year I made two:
one) set boundaries and not let anyone run them over
two) make friends with myself

Yes! The anonymity goes both ways. Many many years ago I ran into one of my bosses at a meeting! I almost died. But then I thought, "Wait, he's here too." And actually it was very good. I actually felt like we had this secret connection and he was kind of looking out for me. I've run into others I know from the community and it's been a little "Hey, whoa, hi!" and then it's just good. It's actually reassuring in a weird way. For better or for worse, we (alcoholics and our families) are everywhere. You just definitely aren't alone.
