How about a Dutch girl singing Italian?
Amira Willighagen - Nella Fantasia

A few notes in here so shockingly pure they make my soul cry.

And, yes. I will so totally bump this so loud the cars' windows around me vibrate. Followed fairly randomly by insert genre here. <chuckling> I've never exactly been accused of being a considerate driver. A good one? Yes. But not a considerate one ;)

I would be deeply indebted to anyone who could hook me up with seriously sexy sultry French blues. Spent a lot of time in clubs once upon a time, wasn't paying as much attention as I shoulda been to who the singers were or song names. Just loving on the music. Had to marry a musician to stop just going out and finding music to dance to or live to, but actually learn the artists & songs names, and -you know- buy CDs. Cough.

SAKURA SAKURA

I've looked online through about 40 different videos trying to find a "good" one! :wtf: It's a Japanese folk song. It needs to be simple. No huge choruses with the wrong accents (western or other Asian accents who shape the R wrong, tonality off, vowels massacred). No EU opera jowly tones & shapes. No modern pop, fun as it may be. Simple. The elegance, and the complexity, and the rightness... is in the simpleness of it. Like a lullaby. A mother or father singing to their child. Sure, a lullaby can be done up by the best choir in the world, but it won't be right until it's a single untrained voice soothing a child to sleep, and then it's pure magic. That's this song.
