Cruel, Marlene, just cruel! :poke: Posting pictures of those delicious cookies.

Perhaps I'll have to pick some up. The trick for me is to immediately take them to a friend's house so there are people to share with. Otherwise I'll end up eating an entire box by myself.

If it helps, I LOVE Samoas....they are my absolute favorite. But I did not like the Samoa ice cream at all.

I find that if the box is unopened, I can resist. If it's open, I might as well get a big glass of milk, the cookies and announce 'dinner's ready!' and then eat! LOL Fortunately my family is always so happy to help eat the GS cookies.

I have a girl scout in the house so I had to buy some. It is so hard to resist and opened box. I try to hide them so I can't see them, but I can't curb a cookie craving. Thanks for the visuals, Lisa, like we need help drooling on the keyboard!

My niece is a girl scout and of course I bought a few boxes from her. I figured 15 boxes of thin mints and 20 peanut butter would be enough to last me the year ( or at least 6 months). Although I am not as bad as my brother (father of said Girl scout) he literally spent 100 dollars on just cookies. the heartache about that is as soon as he placed the order and the forms were sent in he found out from his doctor that he cannot have peanutbutter or chocolate anymore.

Popeye......No problem, tell your brother I will pay the shipping and postage charges, and I will take them off his hands for him.... I am just trying to help save his life, and do a good deed!!! LOL!!!!!!!

Ah Wendy *sniff, sniff* the selflessness of that gesture really touched me. That you would go above and beyond to help someone you don't even know. Wow...I am so honored to know you!!!!!!

God, Lisa, you are such a smart ass at times.......LOL!!!!!!!! But hell for a Girl Scout Cookie, I might do just about anything..LOL I said MIGHT!!!!!

Ahhhhh, I think I have the perfect solution to this sweet little problem.

Everybody buy their PTSD forum mug.

I will personally, and at great personal sacrifice, petition the Haagen Daas ice cream company to add Girl Scout cookies to their sinfully rich, coffee flavored ice cream so we will then have coffee and cookies in the same container which can then be spooned generously into a LARGE PTSD Forum coffee mug. We will all then take pictures of our ice cream and cookie laden mugs in front of our own mugs and post them here.In this way we can have coffee and cookies with no dunking or brewing necessary thereby significantly decreasing the risks involved in coffee burns resulting from spillage when we lapse into our sugar comas from eating all the cookies. = )

That is my one brilliant idea for the year. I'm done. Whew, my brain hurts...or maybe it's just ice cream (idea) brain freeze.

Disclaimer: No actual Girl Scouts were harmed in the writing of this post but a lot of their cookies suffered severe bites for some reason.
