We have been doing the movie night thing to death lately. He even seems bored and restless... which I usually take as a good sign that he is ready to go out and blow the stink off.
We are outdoorsy in the warmer months. We try to find ADA approved trails that are flat and short enough that he can manage them on his cane, and take a lot of photos of the scenery. We go offroading sometimes, and he enjoys thoroughly scaring the bejeezus out of me (he's an old hand at it... I'm still a newbie). He's been teaching me to shoot, and that's a fun outing. I usually let him decide when he wants to go to the range though, because he has days where he is not up to the sound of gunfire. He has a motorcycle and loves to ride... but he has some paralysis on one side and I'm leery to ride too far with him lest I make balancing more difficult.
We can do museums, as long as they are not super-crowded or require a lot of standing or walking without places for him to rest up. We need to find more cold weather things. :/
