Been soaking up the beauty of all the changing and dancing leaves, the cooler weather, and the glow of the late afternoon/evening sun that the camera never fully captures as I remember seeing/feeling it.

Daughter and I fed the animals at school today and especially enjoyed time with the birds.

Here I am holding Sansa, her feathers are exquisitely patterned and velvet soft.

Here my daughter is holding the iridescent young rooster, Einstein.

These are hen turkeys. Meriwether displays for her sister Annabelle, especially in Fall. I read that it’s rare for hens to strut!
