We had a great holiday and Im going to bombard you with pictures because it was vast and beautiful. And I love seeing your part of the world too. The view from our room in Mackinac City and The Mackinac Bridge. (Stayed two nights there)

Here's some of Mackinac Island. We took the ferry and spent a beautiful day walking and exploring. The ferry went under the bridge for us which was cool. There is so much to see and do. This may take 2 posts because I want to share the architecture. The deer on the path let us watch him for about 15 minutes. We sat and had a water while he snacked on leaves and occasionally stopped to look at us.

Next up is the Upper Peninsula. We stayed near the Porcupine State Park. Our hotel was on Lake Superior and Big Iron River ran along side. Here are pictures at the hotel. Sunset and bonfire every night.

Maligne Lake, south of Jasper AB. Near the other end of the lake is Spirit Island, a very photographed spot.
