I guess 'get along' is a bit oversimplified, and leaves out some important stuff. If all of someone's parts are able to 'get along' AND 'work as an effective team' then I'd say that there's not a clinically significant problem - that the person is somewhere in the 'normal' range. (Let's not forget that life can be really difficult for 'normal' people too.)
But parts not telling each other things that they need to know (as indicated above) suggests that they're not getting along well enough to be a truly effective team. So I'm not trying to disagree, I'm trying to clarify.
