Lost, a lot of people die from the flu every year. I'm sure the stats can be found on the CDC website. It's quite serious, especially in people with other medical conditions. That's why getting a flu shot is so important.

I don't think he ever left his 80's influences. Hate how he was only 57 and that apparently he made a bad decision... rather than stay in the hospital last week or so ago... there was no private room. He checked out and when home. May be an od.

Yep, the flu can be quite deadly, particularly when someone is compromised in other ways. I have had family members die from the flu----- Years later and it's still devastating. :(

The autopsy report should be in sometime today. I'll post if I hear what the results are.

I'm so sorry, Eve. Yeah, the flu is nothing to mess around with. I've got it now, yuck. Makes me feel kind of creepy atm.
