Prozac And Anxiety/panic

Just got prescribed Prozac along with Xanax that I was already on. I know lots of people that took Prozac for depression but not for anxiety. Was wondering if anyone on here has taken it for anxiety and panic attacks and if they felt it helped or not?

I took Prozac when I was 10 and it helped, however short after I turned 13 I got prescribed it again and it did nothing for me. I don't know if it'll help you, perhaps it depends on the person. That's my personal experience with it, that it helped when I was young but not now
