I think I'm rediscovering Linkin Park...

I've been on a huge LP kick for the past few weeks. Hadn't really listened to them since 2003. There's a syncopated base line in The Catalyst that starts about halfway through the song that just has me curled up by my speakers soaking it in on repeat. Bliss. Bleed it Out is cadence. What I've Done & Lost in the Echos (& Castle of Glass) are trigger warnings. 1258 from Hybrid theory. Just in love with LP right now.

Re-discovering Ian Dury and the Blockheads here.
During the time they were coming on strong it passed by a biit.
After seeing a biopic on Dury, the penny dropped.
What genius artists he and Chaz Jankel became together.
It seems a simple bassline but they were ahead of their time.

Polio, his time in an abusive carehome, he was far gone into self medication.
