It's ANZAC day coming up on Wednesday, both my boys and my new wife are coming to the dawn service with me.
So I thought I would post this song. It has probably already been posted but check the video out, they still had the gear they were wearing when I joined in 1985.

Got my med board tommorow and to say my heads a bit battered is and understatement. Anyway browsing the web looking for answers as always and came across this, couldnt be more true about me today ! (Johnny Cash - Hurt)

It may have been, mate. Could be my bad-time theme song too. I can't watch that video without crying. Cash did a song about the Man who couldn't cry, would be me most of the time but Hurt does it.
The album is AMERICAN IV: THE MAN COMES AROUND.
I suggest it.

That's why Cash had such a huge following, the man lived his songs. Prison, fights, drugs, booze all came out in his words. Like the blues guys put it, "you can't sing it if you haven't lived it". One of the items on my bucket list is to put together a cd that will tell the story of my musical life. Starting out with playing in my Dad's Country Band all the way til now with music crashing all around in my head.

It won't be a hit. It might not be any good to anyone but me but if it tells my story, I can check that one off the list.
