and as I am at the bottom a bit we have this... The music was from my time there by a guy called Vedran Smailovic. During the war he would play at peoples funerals and some smashed up buildings. And we had lots of smashed up buildings. Some of the stuff on here isn't great, but look what they did. Look what they did to us. This just pushes me into a very bad place and of course... I keep watching it. Never quite learn!

Poignant vid that is Alan cocker. I realy am ashamed to say I was there in UN blue, hands tied not being able to do anything or help the people being shot down right in front of us. A couple of us ended up in Nick for interveening and protecting a family. Disobeying direct orders was one of the bullshit reasons we got courtmartialled. That was the day my faith in the machine died.

I realy am sorry that we couldn`t help in those early days. I realy am sorry.

At least the Irish used to shoot mainly at the Squaddies and the Government. but what I saw the Serbs do to Civvies purely out of hate is beyond justification. Wearing a blue helmet was a waste of time, and not being allowed to help the Locals as we should have been was a f*cking disgrace to the western world. The UN was absolutly f*cking useless, and NATO should have Nuked the f*ckers on day one for what they were doing.

I was at a biker meet party a few years ago, just me and an old Royal Signals mate. One of the club members who had invited us had a lass on his arm. He introduced us as the "Thommys" as in the typical German name for Brits even today. All she said with a big smile was "Ohh Hi, I am ? and come from Serbia, Yes I am one of the evil ones" she was only like 20, but I nearly knocked her head of her f*cking shoulders.

The Serbs are a race of people that should never have made it out of the cold war. Evil f*cking bastards. If Iran wants to build a Nuclear bomb, let them, they can try it out on those bastards.

I see you have met them Angle! At the time my friend asked me what the UN were doing and I said they are here to count shells and watch us all die. Of course there was a point, but sometimes I cannot see what it was.

As for the VRS. Well I cannot begin to describe what I think of them really.

I was in a bar in Cyprus once. Bartender ended up being Serb. I was reading a book. (as I do allot in public places, it shuts people out. They won't talk to you. Survival strategy note there) She asked what it was I was reading. It was "War of the World: Twentieth Century Conflict and the Descent of the West" by Nialls Ferguson. I was in the Balkan War part of the book oddly enough. The comment she made I will not repeat. But I was, how can I say it. Disgusted, repulsed, almost felt violated by what she said. I wanted to smash her face with my beer glass. I got out of there.

I'm by nature a lover, not a fighter. Some may see this as a weakness. I say, well I can't say it without being confrontational. I learned to be a fighter by circumstance, no I wasn't a soldier or Marine and didn't have to engage in combat. I've spent almost my whole life trying to be true to my true nature. The world has enough hate, I want to make the world a better place, not worse.

Sorry if this seems to be coming out of left field, I've been really strugling with some triggers the last few days about hateful people, and people who love to spread hate and discontent. No this isn't about anybody on the forum, it's about real life around me now.
