Thanks again Jimmy, like Dr. B said it makes sense..the feedback loops, the constant cycle. Sometimes it helps to see it represented graphically.

Yeah, well I am not a talking person, I am a writing or picture person. Some of the guys in my section could handle a whole set of orders given verbally and act on it.

As you know, you can't beat a sand table or 'Mud Map', nowadays they use all sorts of shit. Once I have seen one of those, I can handle any verbal order.

Same here Jimmy. I learn best by "seeing and doing", As an RTO, I plotted our patrols routes, check points, LPOP's etc through the dmz in Korea on a huge mapboard..Doing that helped me to picture the entire mission in my mind, and when it was jump off time, we all knew the patrol backwards and forwards. lol..I wish I had a penny for all the soviet armor flash cards I've looked at.(y)

It's actually scary looking at these diagrams. I hit emotions I would rather not hit.
