I think we are asking in the spirit of this being a safe place, not where rapists are, but a place to share our questions about having been raped with other victims of rape. Maybe we are sharing the questions we have gone over in our minds.

I would never ask these questions of the person who so blithely raped me. I ask them here because I am sharing my thoughts with all of you.

I assume that he has never given it a second thought, but wish so strongly for him to regret what he did. Question being, “When you look in your innocent daughter’s eyes, what do you wish for her when she goes to college?” (Making the assumption that he doesn’t rape children, too)

So... I am leaning towards the rape not being my fault and would be feeling angry AT HIM if I could fee...

I think reading that really communicates the point (through the questions) that he intentionally harmed you and is responsible for his actions. The act of questioning and really looking at the details and calling them into the light seems like a healing process.
I want to do this with the people that hurt me. Its like actions are covered up, denied, and smoothed over inside of a perpetrators mind, but these questions untangle that. Did you imagine his responses? I don't know if that is helpful.

In looking back over the rape, I came up with this question: Why did you say to me that you loved it when I fought you? Was that some kind of reverse psychology, or did it really "turn you on" as you said it did?
