It has been a very quiet Christmas here, as hubby has been in PTSD mode since taking his medication very late on Christmas eve. He did not want to go to bed early as we had family here and taking his meds at the usual time would have had him going around 9pm. So he was over 2 hours late in taking them, which sent him on a down ward spiral, but he did keep himself under good control.
He has been fine with me, no nonsense about anything, just not right ion himself, which means he has slept a lot. he also could not make it to see our grandchildren this morning, as their excitement would have been too much for him.
On the plus side, apart from a couple of drinks on Christams eve and him getting a bit merry, he has not touched a drop. With any luck he will leave it alone until he is in a better place in his head, and not let the bad decisions of PTSD take over.
